Twelve South | BookBook

Hello!!! I’m excited to come at you today with some FRESH FILM IMAGES that I made for Twelve South. Their product BookBook got a little bit of a lift, and our friend, Jai who works with Twelve South, thought it’d be a good idea to bring me on board to help them refresh the imagery for this long-standing product in their line.

For a genre of goods that can err on the side of, should I say, h y p e r - s l e e k   +  s u p e r - c l e a n, Jai was an angel for inviting me to share my vision and creative process for how we could bring BookBook into a natural, playful, film-based look. I pitched 3 ideas to the brand and this one stuck:

3 scenes

1 beverage professional receiving invoices, making orders, an overall pre-shift vibe

1 knowledge/business professional working from a shared space

2 college-age persons, studying outdoors, ivy-but-make-it-fun(!)

All the images you see were made on 35mm or 120mm film, Porta 400 stock. Cameras: Nikon f100 fitted with 50mm + 35mm Nikkor lenses, and Pentax 67 with 105mm lens. :D FUNNNNN!!!!
